Standing on Dahlbeg, looking out to sea and knowing the next landfall is Canada never fails to fill me with awe. So much water, and yet it reaches this small horseshoe bay with determined persistence. On a windswept, stormy Hebridean day it’s the perfect place to stand and soak up the atmosphere — to feel the raw power of wind and sea and the island’s resilience . I love it.
