A Statement Wall

I had a commission for a large 1m x 1m canvas and after a bit of research it was definitely cheaper for me to buy a carton of 5 … so the last few weeks I have had the best fun throwing the paint around and I mean throwing the paint. When you work large you can be so much more expressive, spray paints , large brushes , window squeegees you name I’ve had a go . I’m liking the new rainbow effect on the gravel outside the Art Room as I had to paint outside at times. 😀

I’ve also been working with Farrow and Ball tester pots , nothing goes to waste and some of their colours are really lovely. It’s been a learning curve, one I can highly recommend. These two paintings will be up on the walls for Open Studios and then coming with me to the Harrogate Art Fair in October.
