It’s a Shore Thing.

Starting to pull some paintings together that have been inspired by our trip North . Ceannebeinne beach , near Durness was stunning. Standing sentinel near one end of a huge expanse of white sand stands this gorgeous rock formation. I took so many photos of it - my thoughts were running along the lines of how does it survive , tide after tide , storm after storm, the relentless battering , for me it was a testament of strength and endurance and deserved to be documented .

Oil on canvas 76 x 76 unframed at the moment as it’s still drying. There’s another painting in the early stages taken from a different angle.

Loved this beach and so worth a visit!

Thank you for coming to the website , keep an eye on this page as the new work will get a showing here before it goes to the shop.
